About The Position

The Program Management Specialist serves as the customer point of contact, answering questions and providing updates. The role is responsible for all aspects of a program, from initial planning through final delivery, including coordinating work, identifying risks and mitigation plans, handling budget and pricing strategies, and setting timeline estimates. The specialist ensures that the needs of external and internal customers are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or another related field, or equivalent work experience (preferred).
• Demonstrated experience in a customer-centric environment.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to organize, manage, and complete multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office applications.

Nice To Haves

• Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure program milestones are met.
• Oversee all aspects of programs to ensure compliance with contract regulations and customer needs.
• Assess and recommend processes or technologies that could improve productivity or efficiency.
• Manage time and resources effectively to complete programs on time and within budget and cost requirements.
• Provide training to Program Management Assistants on new programs or customers to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Coordinate with internal partners so that all parties understand their responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• Monitor work performed by outside suppliers or contractors to ensure it meets organizational and customer specifications.
• Manage programs from start to finish, including planning, resource management, and performance monitoring.
• Answer customer questions and provide updates.
• Coordinate program work, identify risks and mitigation plans, handle budget and pricing strategies, and set timeline estimates.
