About The Position

This is a unique opportunity to shape a brand-new role, influencing a meaningful mission while pioneering our program strategy and operational foundations. This is a high-impact and visibility, foundational role designed for a master organizer who thrives in fast-paced and fluid environments. You will partner with APM-Es to expand administrative and management practices through the addition of project management support. The Technical Project Manager (TPM) maps workflows and seamlessly introduces structure to amplify impact. This is accomplished by listening to and understanding complex technical discussions and anticipating points disconnect. You will serve as the essential link that translates complex technical exchanges into clear project milestones, to advance strategic goals. The candidate will develop and deliver new management processes and develop document plans, coordinate efforts with stakeholders to inform system-of-system design reviews, participate in planning events, review and provide feedback on documentation, as well as assist with establishing and managing development environments. In this position you will anticipate operational needs by proactively identifying gaps and creating custom structural solutions, such as workflow templates, tracking tools, and central dashboards. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting DoD or industry acquisition programs
  • 3+ years of experience with strategic communications or project management
  • 3+ years of experience applying data management, data analysis, and data visualization
  • 2+ years of experience in technical project management or operations, including supporting senior, highly self-sufficient technical teams
  • Experience using modern project management tools and visual presentation software, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel, to communicate complex ideas
  • Ability to be detail-oriented, flexible, proactive, and adaptable to changing client priorities
  • Ability to listen to technical and architectural discussions, follow the thread and extract the program-level impact
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple client organizations and teams, author briefings, and formulate responses to data calls
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience using Microsoft Project, Visio, or Tableau
  • Experience with Power BI tools
  • Knowledge of Systems of Systems and Architecture
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies
