About The Position

This role supports pre- and post-award Department of War (DoW) contracts, focusing on acquisition, contracting, and financial management. The Program Specialist will work closely with DoW clients to aid in the acquisition of capability to meet mission objectives. The position involves collaborating with Booz Allen colleagues and government clients from various DoW and other government agencies to architect and develop large-scale space and ground systems. Responsibilities include helping the DoW manage technical baselines in accordance with cost, schedule, and performance constraints, mitigating program risks, and identifying opportunities. The role also involves building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders and obtaining consensus to provide meaningful acquisition support.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with program integration and business operations processes across complex design, development, and test type programs
  • Experience with Integrated Master Schedule performance management, Earned Value Management, and EAC review and assessment
  • Experience with leadership briefing material preparation
  • Knowledge of Award Fee and Incentive Fee contractor performance management
  • Knowledge of contracts management and change management
  • Ability to effectively communicate program status to senior leadership
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Space Systems Command (SSC) acquisitions
  • Experience with award and incentive fee management
  • Experience with integration and management of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Government Furnished Information (GFI)
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
  • Master's degree
