Program Management Manager
About The Position
AECOM is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support a major project in the Indianapolis, IN. This role will oversee program related activities for smaller programs or a defined part of a larger program, in support of the overall Program Manager. The position provides technical leadership and strategic direction for program delivery at the program level or for elements of a program. The Program Manager will advocate for ethical and safe working practices, and support innovation in program management approaches and methodology to achieve marketplace differentiation. This role involves identifying areas of high risk and proactively taking actions to positively impact program outcomes. The Program Manager will contribute to the global learning and people development strategy for program management, including identification of talent gaps and resourcing plans. They will assess long-term and disruptive trends in their area of expertise, and propose skill development approaches and workforce planning to deliver capabilities for the future. The role actively supports the attraction and retention of talent across their area of expertise. The Program Manager is accountable for the overall financial success and delivery of AECOM Program Management agreements.
Requirements
- BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education.
Nice To Haves
- 10 or more-years of experience working in project management, program management and/or construction management
- Experience working with large, advanced manufacturing, technology and/or corporate sector clients
- Ability to travel to project sites in Northeast Illinois, Northwest Indiana, and Southwest Michigan
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
