Requirements

Responsibilities

Adhere to Magna’s Group Management Guidelines to achieve the principles of Magna’s Employee Charter.
If there is a reason to believe that any equipment or physical condition of the workplace is likely to endanger the employee or co-worker, or is in contravention of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and Michigan’s Occupational Safety and Health Act (MIOSHA), notify management immediately.
Adheres to company systems and policies (TS16949, 5S, employee handbook).
Assist with prototype and validation builds.
Act as a liaison between test lab and process engineer (test results, timing, etc.).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document requirements, action items, and project milestones.
Participate in meetings, take notes, and help coordinate follow-up actions.
Contribute to the preparation of presentations and communication materials for stakeholders.
Support prototype and validation build projects by gathering and analyzing data, preparing reports, and tracking progress on key initiatives.
Assist in improving process documentation such as Work Instructions by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions.
Participate in and support problem solving initiatives.
Contribute to improving efficiencies through waste identification and reduction.
Participate in corrective actions for Customer complaints.
Assist with VA/VE activity (Product and Process Savings).
Troubleshooting/developing/implementing solutions to design and production problems.
Manages / maintains reports of data as directed.
Performs other duties as assigned to support objectives.
