Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Magna’s Group Management Guidelines to achieve the principles of Magna’s Employee Charter.
  • If there is a reason to believe that any equipment or physical condition of the workplace is likely to endanger the employee or co-worker, or is in contravention of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and Michigan’s Occupational Safety and Health Act (MIOSHA), notify management immediately.
  • Adheres to company systems and policies (TS16949, 5S, employee handbook).
  • Assist with prototype and validation builds.
  • Act as a liaison between test lab and process engineer (test results, timing, etc.).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document requirements, action items, and project milestones.
  • Participate in meetings, take notes, and help coordinate follow-up actions.
  • Contribute to the preparation of presentations and communication materials for stakeholders.
  • Support prototype and validation build projects by gathering and analyzing data, preparing reports, and tracking progress on key initiatives.
  • Assist in improving process documentation such as Work Instructions by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions.
  • Participate in and support problem solving initiatives.
  • Contribute to improving efficiencies through waste identification and reduction.
  • Participate in corrective actions for Customer complaints.
  • Assist with VA/VE activity (Product and Process Savings).
  • Troubleshooting/developing/implementing solutions to design and production problems.
  • Manages / maintains reports of data as directed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support objectives.
