Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement drop-out prevention services for high school students in collaboration with the DOE staff and other CBOs on site.
  • Provide individual and group counseling.
  • Recruit, schedule, and supervise 10-15 college undergraduate and graduate students who are tutors/mentors.
  • Design and implement school-based programming including workshops, afterschool programs, college exploration, college advising, workforce development, academic and cultural enrichment.
  • Plan and facilitate positive social activities during holiday and summer breaks.
  • Responsibilities will change with programs' needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
