About The Position

Program Leaders work with an assigned group of students in an in-person, part-time role at district and school-site locations throughout California. The student-to-staff ratio is contingent upon CDC guidelines. Program Leaders serve as positive adult role models, coaches, and mentors, and help provide students with a safe, nurturing environment that supports their growth and development. The role requires leadership, communication, patience, flexibility, and commitment to building connections and maintaining a stable atmosphere for students. In person, Program Leaders provide homework assistance, academic enrichment, and physical activity using program-provided curriculum and materials. They work directly with groups of 20–25 students in a classroom setting and help with snack service, site setup and cleanup, and student attendance and sign-out procedures.
