About The Position

Pilot Company is seeking a Talent Management Intern to join their team in Knoxville, Tennessee, for the summer of 2027. This role focuses on improving the operational efficiency of selection and assessment processes, including how individuals are evaluated for hiring and development. The intern will contribute to streamlining systems and ensuring processes align with organizational needs, providing an opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Currently a graduate student in an Industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychology or related program
  • Deep understanding of advanced data analysis and the ability to interpret the output of data
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • A driven and reliable individual who completes tasks in a timely fashion and is on time every day
  • An authentic and transparent communication style, with a willingness to speak up and voice differing opinions
  • A welcoming, positive, and respectful attitude toward others

Responsibilities

  • Support initiatives that enhance the efficiency, effectiveness and alignment of selection and assessment processes with organizational needs
  • Assist with building a skills framework that helps with career pathing, selection and assessment
  • Gain exposure to other areas of Talent Management such as performance management and succession planning
  • Support the team with projects that require data analysis, research and critical thinking
