About The Position

Pilot Company is seeking a Salesforce Intern to join their team in Knoxville, Tennessee, for the summer of 2027. This is a unique opportunity to learn how to administer and develop for the Salesforce platform within a corporate environment, directly contributing to the evolution of their AI platform. The intern will be an integral part of the Salesforce team, bringing fresh AI perspectives to the platform and developing use cases and implementation strategies for the evolving AI ecosystem. This is an ideal position for someone with a strong technical aptitude who is driven to find answers and open to learning new things.

Requirements

• A student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Business, Finance, or Accounting with technical coursework.
• Proficiency in Salesforce Administration: Configuring the platform, automation, gathering requirements, and forming stories.
• Proficiency in Salesforce Development: Experience with Java, SQL, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in DevOps/Testing: Best practices around testing, automation, devOps, and deployment.
• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, including the chat function, is essential.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
• Resourceful and driven to find answers.

Responsibilities

• Administer and Develop: Learn how to administer and develop for the Salesforce platform in a corporate setting.
• Support AI Evolution: Contribute to the evolution of the AI platform within Salesforce by bringing fresh perspectives.
• Develop Use Cases: Create use cases and implementation strategies surrounding the ever-evolving AI ecosystem.
• Work with Key Technologies: Depending on your focus, you may work with Java, SQL, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Contribute to Best Practices: Learn and contribute to best practices around testing, automation, devOps, and deployment.
