About The Position

Pilot Company is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management Intern to join their team in Knoxville, Tennessee, for the summer of 2027. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in enterprise risk management, supporting initiatives that strengthen organizational resiliency, compliance, and risk awareness. The intern will be an integral part of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team, supporting efforts to facilitate a risk-aware culture and promote efficient, sound decision-making across the organization. The ERM department provides a holistic review and assessment of risk across the enterprise. This internship is an opportunity to learn the practical application of risk management principles and grow within a supportive team dedicated to developing its people.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, dashboard reporting, or other data visualization and reporting tools is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with enterprise risk management initiatives, including identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks across the organization and promoting a strong risk-aware culture.
• Support resiliency planning, including business continuity planning, crisis management, disaster recovery, and resiliency initiatives, such as developing playbooks, procedures, and response plans.
• Analyze and report data using dashboards and reporting tools to monitor key risk indicators and provide insights that support decision-making across the enterprise.
• Enhance team processes through contributions to ongoing improvements in policy compliance management, reporting processes, and overall risk management practices.
