About The Position

The Program Innovation & AI Literacy Specialist serves with IMPACT Your Acceptance (IYA), IMPACTdmv’s youth program focused on leadership and workforce development, college access, career readiness, and AI literacy. The role combines direct youth service with program development, school and community collaboration, event support, volunteer coordination, and data and family communication. The Member works with approved curricula and tools, follows student privacy and confidentiality requirements, and documents assigned service activities. The position is a full-time AmeriCorps service assignment running from December 7, 2026, to August 13, 2027, for approximately 40 hours per week and 1,200 service hours. The role is supervised by IMPACTdmv staff; program decisions, official reporting, and verification of outcomes remain with staff.

  • Administer family and post-session surveys and share results with IMPACTdmv staff to inform program delivery.
  • Assist staff in using approved AI tools to map and automate routine workflows such as attendance entry, contact list updates, survey distribution, and reminders, following data protection procedures.
