About The Position

The Program Implementation and Training Coordinator provides services to all divisions, units, and groups within the Department. This role works closely with all department members to ensure training programs appropriately reflect the knowledge to be imparted to educators and are implemented as designed. An example of this work includes collaborating with Curriculum Development to support the introduction of new curriculum into schools or with Student Achievement regarding the introduction of new assessment and reporting procedures. The Coordinator supports the Department in the application of its Project Management Process Administrative Directive and participates in committees as required, pertaining to the activities of the Division or the Department as a whole. Additionally, the incumbent ensures that the services and supports provided reflect and are aligned with Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit (IQ) Principles.

Requirements

  • Services to all Divisions, units, groups etc. within the Department

  • Participate in/sit on Committees (as when required) that pertain to the activities of the Division on the Department as a whole.
  • Ensure that the services and supports provided reflect/are aligned with Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit (IQ) Principles.
