About The Position

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Program Financial Manager to join our team onsite in Chantilly, VA. This role is responsible for all budget activities within the group, developing detailed briefings to defend funding requirements, preparing total program budget exhibits, and building, maintaining, tracking, and updating spend plans and execution spreadsheets. The position also involves directing and administering formal program aspects in accordance with accounting principles, corporate policies, and government regulations, preparing funding documents, and developing program-related financial data. Occasional CONUS travel may be required.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or 4 or more years of relevant financial and budget experience.
  • Experience in budget formulation, analysis and administration.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office products
  • Experience creating annual budgetary spend plans
  • Experience monitoring annual budgetary spend plans against annual government known/standard metrics
  • Experience in tracking commitments, obligations, and expenditures of funds through out the life cycle of an acquisition/appropriation
  • Experience in analyzing cost performance reports and contract financial status reports
  • Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare total program budget exhibits for presentation.
  • Build, maintain, track, and update spend plans and execution spreadsheets for funding actions using required systems.
  • Directs, implements, and administers formal aspects of program in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies, and government regulations.
  • Prepare funding documents for program execution.
  • Responsible for the development of program-related financial data.
