Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario (YWHO) is an Integrated Youth Services (IYS) initiative aimed at addressing service gaps in youth mental health and substance use sectors in Ontario. YWHO collaborates with local service providers to offer integrated services for young people aged 12-25, encompassing mental health and substance use support, primary care, education, employment, housing, and other social services within a youth-friendly environment. The initiative emphasizes co-creation with youth, families, and partners to ensure services meet their needs. YWHO currently operates 32 local hubs across over 40 communities and a Provincial Office at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) which supports these networks in areas like implementation, operations, data, youth engagement, equity, knowledge mobilization, and communications. The Provincial Office is seeking a part-time, 12-month contract Program Engagement Co-Facilitator (Youth Engagement Specialist) to join their Equity and Engagement team in Toronto. This role will report to the Manager of Equity and Engagement and work closely with the Community, Health and Education (CH&E) Coordinator, Engagement. The successful candidate will leverage their lived/living experience with mental health and/or substance use challenges, experience accessing social services, and a system-level perspective to contribute to service planning, education, and research activities. The role involves collaborating with various staff to ensure YWHO projects, engagement processes, activities, and outcomes are relevant and reflective of the needs of young people with lived/living experience.
