About The Position

The Program/ET Manager is responsible for the implementation, management, supervision, monitoring and evaluation of the program(s) and enabling technology to ensure compliance in accordance with established standards. Provide direct guidance, support and supervision to Lead DSP and DSPs. Oversees the daily operation of homes/apartment assigned. Ensures that people are supported to achieve their personal goals, help them develop and maintain relationships, skills which promote success in their lives. The Program/ET Manager, in collaboration with CLC’s Enabling Technology Department, also oversees and assists in the implementation of Enabling Technology for services in the Smithfield NC.

  • Bachelor’s degree & 5 years’ human services experience
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
  • Background in Human services is a plus primarily in Residential setting
  • Good computer skills to include but not limited to Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Working jointly with all support areas and departments to support people through ensuring homes are operated and maintained within the expectations of CLC.
  • Supervise Lead DSP through scheduled meetings and reviews of documentation.
  • Collaborate with Lead DSP and Regional Director and HR in the recruiting, selecting, training, motivating, coaching, mentoring and evaluation of employees occur as CLC expects.
  • Ensure appropriate and adequate staffing levels are maintained to carry out the program activities.
  • Complete annual performance evaluations on assigned employees.
  • Work a flexible schedule based on the needs of program.
  • Ensure employees receive appropriate training in accordance with CLC training expectations.
  • Ensure coaching of assigned employees occurs as needed and is documented per CLC procedures.
  • Provide intervention and assistance for hospitalizations, injuries, death, abuse, critical and other emergencies deemed necessary.
  • Ensure systems and structure is in place that assures all health and safety needs are adequately met and monitored. Ensures that meet 90% or above all requirements of Alliant, DHEC, DHHS, DDSN or any internal/external review.
  • Monitors shift documentation daily to ensure appropriate and timely documentation is being recorded as expected.
  • Compile, maintain and report on the monthly, quarterly and annual program statistics as established by program administration and CLC.
  • Communicate on a regular basis with persons served to evaluate supports received or needed to improve.
  • Facilitating call team meetings to ensure person supported and team members concerns are heard and addressed.
  • Collaborate with others to ensure the effective and efficient program delivery.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of CLC & Residential policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the program budgets within approved guidelines.
  • Ensure all physical facility needs are met and have proper and timely follow-up.
  • Provide Director with a monthly summary of finding of visits, celebrations, concerns and opportunities for assigned facilities.
  • Provide on the job training for new employees. Also, complete necessary paperwork for training purposes.
  • Ensures all reported injuries of people served are documented as outlined by policy.
  • Ensure all emergency situations are communicated to families/guardians/supervisor timely.
  • Ensure all staff are aware and in-serviced on any new policy and procedure.
  • Ensure systems are online and functional
  • Troubleshoot system errors and coordinate repairs
  • Respond to all alerts generated by night support systems
  • Ensure communication systems are functional and operating effectively (Alexa, Nucleus, Simply Home, etc.)
  • Complete T-Logs Daily for each Supportive Living Member
  • Collaborates with Supportive Living administrative personnel to ensure Technology Backup Plans are accurate and updated as needed
  • Ensure implementation of response protocol when technology is nonoperational
  • Provide basic troubleshooting techniques.
  • Report all technology issues immediately to your supervisor.
  • Follow up with reported technology issues.
  • Report overnight internet outages to IT and follow up to ensure back up plans are implemented timely.
  • Implement emergency protocols with appropriate personnel to ensure the safety and well-being of Persons Supported.
  • Provide technical support to Persons Supported as appropriate.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
