About The Position

This position serves as a permanent liaison between the Office of Program and Grant Management and Deloitte, responsible for creating system change requests, reviewing current and upcoming system designs for accuracy, and working with the Project Management Organization (PMO) on special projects outside of Policy Unit requirements. The role involves creating Change Requests for the ARIES eligibility system and conducting research projects on major changes within SNAP, Health Care, and Transitional Employment Assistance (TEA) programs. The liaison will review all policy updates and coordinate with the PMO to ensure system designs align with upcoming changes. Requirements

  • At least three years of experience in eligibility determination, case management, social service administration, or a related field.
  • One year of experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Completed Eligibility Training for SNAP, Medicaid, and TEA.
  • Experience reviewing ARIES cases.
  • Experience determining eligibility in ARIES.
  • Experience with system design review.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policy.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to research and interpret federal regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office programs.
  • Strong understanding of eligibility determination processes, regulations, and case management.
  • Ability to analyze complex cases, apply policies, and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in data entry, reporting systems, and case management software.
  • Skilled in analyzing issues, identifying solutions, and making sound judgments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, applicants, and agency officials.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and manage caseloads effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Address complex eligibility issues and escalate cases requiring higher-level review.
  • Resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Analyze trends in program applications, eligibility approvals, and error rates to improve operations.
  • Prepare reports on program performance, caseload statistics, and compliance findings.
