About The Position

The Program Director is responsible for ensuring the ongoing requirements of contract(s) are met timely and successfully. This role involves quality control, supervision of Support Coordination Supervisors, maintaining the Quality Assurance Plan, and monitoring supervision binders. The Director will provide oversight of daily operations, interviewing, hiring, and training. Responsibilities also include managing billing procedure processes, conducting weekly staff meetings, ensuring staff have necessary training and tools, meeting billing quotas, and providing budget oversight. Additionally, the role involves discipline and coaching of direct reports and completing annual performance reviews.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Services field or a General Studies or Liberal Arts degree with a minimum of sixteen (16) hours of social service coursework in one concentration.
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years as a Support Coordinator Supervisor.

  • Complete annual performance review of each direct report at least annually
  • Knowledgeable of contract requirements and population specifics
  • Maintenance of compliance
  • Ensure all clients and significant others are treated with respect and dignity; and to ensure that their rights are preserved
  • Assess, as appropriate, client service provision in terms of performance criteria that reflect sound, achievable Support Coordination practices
  • Monitor Support Coordination Supervisor folders to review supervisor notes ensuring clients are staffed on a random and as-needed basis each month
  • Review randomly selected client files each week using an ESL review checklist to ensure all documents are filed, up-to-date, and accurate
  • Coordinates weekly staff meetings with Support Coordination Supervisors to keep all staff informed, ensure open lines of communication and determine training needs and scheduling
  • Exhibit appropriate use of grammar and spelling in written communication, exhibit appropriate use of grammar in oral communication, ensure oral and written communication is professional
  • Work with Support Coordination Supervisors in evaluating program effectiveness and compliance with state/contract requirements and program goals
  • Establish effective objectives, priorities, and implement plans; anticipate obstacles and consider alternatives
  • Able to multi-task in work to coordinate efforts with programs to ensure consistency and adequate follow-up
