The Program Director: Educational Quality Improvement provides strategic leadership in the development, implementation, and oversight of the medical education quality improvement (QI) program. This role is replacing the former Assistant Dean for Medical Education: Educational Quality Improvement position. This role ensures alignment with the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) accreditation standards, particularly Standard 1.1, and collaborates across units within the Office of Educational Affairs to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the Associate Dean for Educational Operations and Strategy, the Program Director plays a vital role in maintaining the institution’s commitment to excellence in medical education. This role offers an opportunity to shape and enhance the quality of the medical education program, ensuring it meets the highest standards of accreditation and serves the needs of students, faculty, and the broader community.
