We’re looking for a Program Director to lead community-based services that support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). In this role, you will oversee program operations, lead and develop staff, and ensure individuals receive high-quality, person-centered care that helps them live more independent and fulfilling lives. This is an ideal opportunity for experienced human services leaders, program managers, or residential supervisors who are ready to take the next step into a Program Director role. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years’ Human Services experience are preferred
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and required state certifications
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Compassionate leadership and a hands-on approach

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations of up to four community-based IDD programs
  • Hire, train, supervise, and develop program staff
  • Ensure person-centered services that support independence and quality of life
  • Manage budgets, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
  • Build relationships with families, stakeholders, and community partners
  • Provide leadership support and occasional on-call coverage to maintain program stability
