About The Position

The Program Director is responsible for the overall administration of the Bedford Program, including participant services, personnel management, and budget management. The role ensures services meet participant and family needs and comply with requirements established by referring authorities or third-party payors. The Program Director also oversees program staff, administration, reporting, and local program development.

Requirements

At least one year of previous experience managing personnel and budgets.
Demonstrated experience providing program leadership, coordinating services, and/or supervising staff.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, along with general computer and technology skills.
Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other data management platforms.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance coverage.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in a Health and Human Services area, such as Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling; commensurate experience in a community-based agency program may be acceptable unless the referring authority requires a specific degree.
Bilingual English/Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee services for participants and their families, ensuring required service hours, contacts, services, funds, and activities are provided and authorized or reauthorized.
Manage intake, including interviewing referrals and appropriate family members with referring authority staff; develop and implement individualized, strength-based service or treatment plans using the wraparound plan model.
Monitor staff service delivery and implementation of service or treatment plan goals and revisions.
Recruit, hire, train, monitor, and supervise direct service professional and administrative staff in accordance with YAP, Inc. policies and applicable qualification requirements.
Provide staff development and training, including cross-training among staff.
Conduct staff meetings and training sessions, and attend meetings and trainings as assigned by the regional director.
Support staff in creative problem solving and securing professional resources for participants and families; ensure activities address education, employment, social, and other needs; develop discharge plans with community linkages.
Meet required timelines and due dates, including submission of administrative, fiscal, billing, database, and referring-authority or third-party-payor reports and documents.
Manage the local program within budget parameters.
Identify new opportunities and projects to support the growth and development of YAP, Inc. programs and services.
