About The Position

The Program Director oversees and coordinates one or more assigned residential and/or day programs serving individuals with developmental disabilities. The position combines direct-care and supervisory duties and includes managing personnel, program implementation, and the programs’ overall operations, including medical, financial, and maintenance matters. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with flexibility and availability to be on call when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field of study.
• At least one year of full-time direct experience working with participants with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• At least two years of experience in management and working with people with developmental disabilities.
• Good decision-making, time-management, and communication skills; responsibility, maturity, and flexibility.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Successful background clearance as part of the onboarding/employment process.
• Flexible schedule and ability to be on call when needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage personnel and coordinate program activities, including ensuring staff complete orientation and ongoing training.
• Monitor program operations, including developing individual goals and plans and implementing the program.
• Coordinate and manage overall program operations, including medical, financial, and maintenance aspects, by guiding and directing the site designee.
• Provide a combination of direct care and supervisory support.
