About The Position

Centurion Forensic Health Services is partnering with the Connecticut Judicial Branch to offer community-based forensic and mental health services through their Alternative in the Community (AIC) programs. This full-time Program Director position is based at the Norwalk Alternative in the Community office in Norwalk, Connecticut. The role involves planning, directing, organizing, and coordinating the daily business operations for the assigned state agencies. The Program Director will act as the on-site liaison between Centurion and the client, providing updates on program progress and goals to Centurion's management team, and addressing any client inquiries or concerns. Additionally, the Program Director will oversee program policies and procedures to ensure their effectiveness and compliance with all federal and state laws, regulations, and guidelines.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, social services, administration, public administration, or a related field
Two years of management experience required
Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Experience in staffing and community based programming preferred

Responsibilities

Planning, directing, organizing, and coordinating the overall functions and activities of the day-to-day business for the assigned state agencies.
Serving as an on-site liaison between Centurion and the client.
Updating Centurion’s management team on the program’s overall progress and goals.
Responding to any inquiries or concerns of the client.
Overseeing the program’s policies and procedures to ensure their effectiveness and compliance with all federal and state laws, regulations, and guidelines.
