Program Director
About The Position
The PRSC Program Director is responsible for overseeing the strategic and day-to-day operations of the Recovery Center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, recovery-oriented services. This role involves supervising staff and volunteers, providing regular peer supervision and leadership development, and ensuring ongoing training and capacity-building for all team members. The Director plays a vital role in enhancing recovery coaching efforts, developing strategies for continuous improvement, and maintaining a safe, supportive, and effective service environment. The position requires working beyond a standard 40-hour week and a strong commitment to the Center’s mission and the needs of the recovery community.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience in a substance abuse, mental health, or other related behavioral health program required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.
- Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in behavioral health, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or another related field preferred.
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience and/or experience in a similar management position preferred.
- Lived experience with addiction recovery preferred
