About The Position

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Program Director at Canyon State Academy in Queen Creek, Arizona. Canyon State Academy is located on a scenic 180-acre campus surrounded by a football stadium, an athletic center (gymnasium, padded wrestling room, a fully equipped weight room & more), a Farm student housing for 300 + youth, a Thrift Store, Cafe and Barbershop open to the community. Free meals on site for staff. As well as 10% off Thrift Store and Cafe purchases for employees. Requirements

Master's Degree in SW or equivalent degree in education, psych, sociology or behavioral science
Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years’ experience in child welfare administration and child protective services
2 years of experience in program management or as director of a license child care program
6 years of supervisory and management experience
Must be licensed
Be at least 21 years of age
Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (we no longer test for THC), physical, and TB test
Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry

Responsibilities

Responsible for the quality delivery and oversight of the treatment, educational, vocational and student health and welfare services in accordance with Rite of Passage policies and procedures as-well-as federal, state, and local rules, regulations, licensing, practices and laws.
Responsible for the day-to-day site operations including budgeting, financial stewardship, administration, program elements, promotions and marketing, and staff development and training.
Provides administrative oversight for the site, serves as a Senior Manager to the Rite of Passage Executive Board, is the leader of the site management team and ensures that the Mission and Values of ROP are represented in every facet under his/her organizational control.
