CAMBA is a community organization dedicated to building an inclusive New York City by providing comprehensive resources and support through over 180 integrated programs in Education & Youth Development, Family Support, Job Training & Employment Support Services, Health, Housing, and Legal Services. The Learning to Work (LTW) program specifically targets students aged 15-21 who are over-aged for their grade, under-credited, and have attended another high school. The program aims to help these students earn a high school diploma and develop vocational and life skills. Utilizing the Primary Person Model, each student is assigned a Young Adult Career Advisor to help remove barriers to graduation, engage them in college preparatory activities, provide supportive services, and foster self-direction. An Internship Developer also works with students to offer meaningful career exploration and internship experiences.
