About The Position
The Program Director oversees the daily operations of the Center's services and has the authority to make decisions within the management areas defined by the EEC. As a member of the administrative management team, the Program Director will be consulted as a key advisor on all decisions related to the employees and the Center's financial operations.
Requirements
- BA or AA degree with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education and two years teaching experience or a CA Children's Center Instructional Permit and /or a CDA plus five years teaching experience
- Must have a Department of Early Education and Care / Office of Child Care Services Group Child Care Certificate, OR transcript
- Verification of experience
- Fundamental computer skills (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and the internet)
- 3 credits in Child Development
- 9 credits in Early Childhood Education
- 2 credits in Day Care Administration
- 2 credits in Early Childhood Education

- Fundamental computer skills (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and the internet)
- Must have the required work experience
