The Program Director, Postdoctoral Career and Professional Development, within Career Advising and Professional Development (CAPD), will act as the primary career services contact for postdoctoral scholars. This role involves managing and providing a variety of services aimed at improving professional development and career skills, as well as fostering collaborations with employers, faculty, and various postdoctoral organizations. The director will conduct one-on-one career advising, organize an annual schedule of workshops, events, and certificate programs, and create resources for employment preparation. Additionally, the role includes conducting assessments, evaluating program outcomes, preparing budget proposals, and building relationships with employing organizations and relevant campus groups.
