Program Director, Pediatric Cardiovascular
About The Position
Provides strategic and operational leadership for multiple non-invasive cardiovascular service lines of the Pediatric Heart Center at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, including the Pediatric Echocardiography Laboratory, Fetal Cardiovascular Program, and Pediatric Stress/EKG Laboratory. Oversees clinical practice, operations, quality, accreditation, regulatory compliance, and resource management to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. Directs multidisciplinary teams, establishing operational strategies, implementing new programs and service standards, and ensuring effective management of staffing, fiscal, and material resources. Collaborates with physician and administrative leadership to optimize patient access, coordinate clinical operations, mitigate risk, and drive continuous improvement across the continuum of care. The Pediatric Non-Invasive labs at UCSF consist of the Pediatric Echocardiography, Fetal Cardiovascular Program, and Pediatric Cardiovascular Stress and EKG. The non-invasive cardiovascular testing labs/departments provide a full spectrum of diagnostic testing to inpatient, outpatient and outreach clinic populations across multiple sites within UCSF Health, including our San Francisco and Oakland Hospitals. The teams supporting these sites include Advanced Practice Providers, Cardiovascular Technologists, Sonographers, Hospital Lab Technicians, as well as various other support staff.
