The Program Director of Leagues is responsible for assisting the development and management of sport programs, ensuring the effective operation of FCA Sports processes, systems, and resources across leagues. This role requires a dynamic leader who can seamlessly integrate sports management with ministry, fostering a Christ-centered League that promotes both athletic excellence and spiritual growth. Key responsibilities include managing league operations, establishing logistics, securing facilities, and assisting relationships with governing bodies, leagues, and tournaments. The Program Director of Leagues is also responsible for developing outreach strategies, expanding program offerings, and cultivating strategic partnerships to grow the number of participants. At Battlefield FCA, the Program Director of Leagues helps lead and grow a multi-sport league ministry across different seasons throughout the year. Rather than focusing on only one sport, this leader may help oversee several sports as the calendar changes — for example, football or soccer in one season, basketball in another, and volleyball, flag football, baseball, or another sport in a different season. The Program Director of Leagues helps create strong, Gospel-centered league experiences by recruiting and supporting coaches, growing participation, strengthening relationships with families, coordinating seasonal transitions, and helping each sport operate with excellence and consistency. This role requires someone who can move well between different sports, seasons, teams, and ministry needs while maintaining a clear Battlefield FCA culture throughout the year. The goal is not simply to run individual leagues, but to build a healthy and growing league ministry that creates repeated opportunities to engage athletes, equip coaches, serve families, and point people toward Jesus.
