About The Position

This role combines disciplined program and project delivery with change management to ensure systems, process, and ways-of-working initiatives are delivered successfully and adopted sustainably across the business. The position bridges technical, operational, and business boundaries, coordinating stakeholders and helping initiatives meet milestones, overcome operational friction, and realize their intended business value. It supports systems, process, and ways-of-working initiatives rather than molecule or drug development programs.

The role operates in a dynamic, matrixed environment and requires both hands-on delivery expertise and the ability to align stakeholders, plan communications, and embed solutions into business-as-usual operations. The primary posting location is Welwyn; compensation details are provided later in the hiring process for any additional locations where the role may be available.

Requirements

• Proven track record of leading cross-functional delivery and embedding business or operational solutions in clinical development, medical affairs, or technology sectors.
• Strong change management background, including stakeholder engagement, impact assessments, adoption planning, and resistance management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to turn complex project information into clear narratives for diverse audiences.
• Collaborative mindset and strong influence and connection skills to gain alignment, navigate ambiguity, and foster trust and inclusion.
• Continuous learning mindset, including seeking feedback, applying modern project and change management methodologies, and sharing best practices across teams.

• Experience or skills in data and technology applications within biotech, pharma, or life sciences.

Responsibilities

• Scope, plan, and execute project roadmaps so business solutions are adopted and deliver value within agreed timelines.
• Apply consistent project delivery standards and manage day-to-day delivery mechanics, cross-functional coordination, and deliverable development.
• Capture, track, and proactively mitigate operational, timeline, and execution risks while maintaining accurate program documentation.
• Prepare clear data updates and progress metrics for executive governance bodies to support decision-making.
• Design and deploy solution adoption frameworks that embed deliverables into daily operational workflows across impacted business units.
• Perform impact assessments, map user journeys, and address adoption barriers so the end-user voice informs project planning.
• Develop transparent communication plans and equip functional leaders with narratives and tools to guide their teams through transitions.
