Roca is a fast-paced, data-driven, and relentless organization that annually serves 1,500 young people at the center of urban violence. Roca's mission is to be a relentless force in disrupting incarceration, poverty, and racism by partnering with young adults, the police, and systems at the center of urban violence to create safety, address trauma, and find hope. Roca operates a nationally acclaimed Intervention Model with five sites in Massachusetts, one in Hartford, Connecticut and one in Baltimore, Maryland. Roca’s approach is rooted in understanding brain development, neuroplasticity, and the impact of trauma on the brain; the Intervention Model is built on the foundational theories of Cognitive Behavioral Theory, Stages of Change and Systems Change. Our intervention model is focused on behavior change, helping young people develop critical skills, and using data to improve our work every day. Roca is transitioning to a custom case management system. The system will be integrated throughout the organization to track staff performance and participant outcomes. The Program Data and Reporting Analyst reports to the Director of Evaluation and Learning (DEL). This individual will serve as Roca’s expert in data acquisition, statistical analysis, data review and visualization, report creation, and can pull together and interpret varied data and sources to inform programmatic improvements. Primary duties include the development and maintenance of data infrastructures, ETL pipelines, and systems to support reporting. This involves managing regular data extraction, transformation (manipulation), and loading processes, as well as the analysis, visualization, and interpretation of results using programming and statistical tools for both internal and external reporting.
