Washington County Behavioral Health Division within Health and Human Services Department is seeking a collaborative, results-driven Aid and Assist Program Coordinator to join our Forensic team. In this role, you will develop and monitor program services for individuals found unable to aid and assist in criminal court proceedings. Serving as a crucial bridge between systems, you will work to establish viable community alternatives to the jail and State Hospital. We are looking for a true team player and skilled diplomat who can navigate complex stakeholder relationships, build consensus across agencies, and take total ownership of projects from concept to completion. The Program Coordinator oversees the daily administration of our Competency Restoration Program, serving as the primary operational and strategic bridge between the mental health system and the criminal courts. In this role, you will develop and monitor local Community Restoration (Aid & Assist) services to provide effective, community-based alternatives to the Oregon State Hospital.
