About The Position

Community Youth Services (CYS) is seeking a Program Coordinator for its Haven House program. This role is internal only and is crucial for supporting the Program Director and ensuring the smooth operation of services. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating staff communication and training, supporting lead staff and case managers, maintaining schedules, ensuring shift coverage, and overseeing various administrative tasks. CYS is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering at-risk youth and families, fostering a supportive, staff-driven culture with limitless growth potential. They have been serving the community for nearly 50 years with over 20 programs focused on housing, stabilization, family preservation, foster care, education, job training, employment, independent living skills, and shelter.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or closely related field, an Associate degree with two years experience, or three years of experience.
• Experience must be direct working with youth in a residential setting.
• Must be an internal employee of CYS.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Director with effective communication to staff.
• Coordinate and facilitate staff training sessions.
• Provide guidance on program processes and policies to staff.
• Conduct regular check-ins with lead staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Set up and maintain staff schedules.
• Ensure adequate shift coverage at all times.
• Participate in on-call duty, which rotates weekly.
• Find coverage or provide it themselves in case of a colleague calling out unexpectedly or during a crisis within the building.
• Carry an on-call phone and remain on-call for one full week.
