Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, plus one to two years' experience in related human service field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous or current volunteer management or older adult programming is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and event planning skills.
• Public speaking and excellent communication skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency auto insurance requirements.
• Must successfully complete all agency background checks.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Previous or current volunteer management or older adult programming is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement volunteer and older adult recruitment strategies.
• Organize and lead orientation and ongoing training for program volunteers and older adults.
• Supervise and support matches.
• Serve as a positive resource and reliable presence for volunteers and older adults.
