About The Position

This is a remote Program Coordinator position with Morning Sun Financial Services, requiring the candidate to reside in Utah. The role involves acting as a liaison between participants and their employees, providing training and ongoing support, and serving as a subject matter expert on program rules and regulations. The position operates on a remote schedule, typically Monday through Friday during daytime business hours, with minimal in-person travel required to support participants as needed. The annual salary is $50,000, with full-time benefits and paid time off.

Requirements

  • Four (4) year degree in Human Services (psychology, sociology, social work, education, etc.); and at least one-year professional experience working with persons who have an intellectual disability; OR A two (2) year degree in Human Services (psychology, sociology, social work, recreational therapy, education, nursing, PT, OT, speech, etc.): and at least three (3) years professional experience working with persons who have an intellectual disability
  • A four (4) year degree in any other subject and at least two (2) years professional experience working with persons who have an intellectual disability
  • Five (5) years of professional experience working with people who have an intellectual disability.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Successful clearance of Department of Human Services background check
  • Successful clearance of a Motor Vehicle Background Check

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between the participants and their employees in onboarding, program enrollment, and paperwork
  • Initial EVV training review to employers/participants with onboarding
  • Documenting communication through Customer Support tickets for compliance.
  • Provide ongoing support to participants and their employees concerning issues, supports, and corrections
  • Act as the subject matter expert of program rules and regulations from state agencies and internal policies for internal staff
  • Other job duties assigned by the Chain of Command
