About The Position

Join a team of creative and supportive colleagues and supervisors at The Arc Westchester, a leading non-profit Social Services provider in Westchester County. We are seeking a Program Coordinator to supervise and manage our site and community-based day program for adults with Developmental Disabilities located in Mt. Kisco, NY. You must be energetic, hands on, organized and creative to develop and coordinate site and community based educational opportunities to adults with Developmental Disabilities in Westchester.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in human services or related field required.
• Minimum 1-year experience with I/DD.
• Ability to travel in community with own vehicle

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 1-year supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OPWDD regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team that develops and provides services to individuals so that they can become as independent as possible including assisting individuals to move towards employment in the community.
• Ensure compliance to all regulations.
• Supervision of staff and day-to-day operations in the community and on site.
• Run Day Habilitation Planning meetings and write reports accordingly.
