This position is responsible for supervising, coordinating, monitoring, planning, and participating in the day-to-day operations of the Center of Hope (shelter) program. Key responsibilities include planning, scheduling, assigning, and supervising the work of shelter program personnel, training employees, monitoring work for accuracy and compliance, ensuring facility safety and security, conducting performance evaluations, and making hiring/firing recommendations. The role also involves interviewing clients to determine eligibility, assisting with applications, preparing and filing client records, inspecting the facility for cleanliness and safety compliance, ordering supplies, supervising case management data entry into the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), preparing statistical reports, and building professional relationships with community agencies.
