The Department of Mechanical Engineering in the College of Engineering, Design and Computing is seeking a full-time individual in a professional exempt position. The Mechanical Engineering Program Coordinator will support our program in two main areas: advising and social media content, along with other duties as assigned. The Program Coordinator will advise a caseload of diverse students to ensure successful progress toward achieving their degree in Mechanical Engineering. This role has four areas of responsibility: student advising, outreach and engagement, student services, and program operations. The Program Coordinator will ensure compliance with all internal/external policies and procedures and will collaborate with key stakeholders in the college and the University of Colorado Denver as a whole. The position will utilize technology extensively to support and implement the College’s service delivery model, including transfer credit platforms, degree audit system; advising in-person and through other technologies. The Program Coordinator will also serve as the department’s Social Media Content Creator. This role requires an ability to create social media posts across applicable platforms. This will necessitate the use of appropriate software tools to create this content. It also requires the photographic and videographic skills and passion for documentation of student, staff, and faculty work.
