About The Position

This recruitment is for a temporary part-time program coordinator. Work schedule is Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 3:30pm. This is a temporary employment recruitment reporting to the UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES) Department. Interviewing and hiring is based on internal hiring needs and how well the candidate's experience matches the assignment requirements. Certain temporary assignments may require clearance of a health physical or require a valid California Driver’s License for driving university vehicles. The majority of our temporary positions are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. We also have occasional part-time, weekend, and evening hours available, depending on the assignment. Requirements

  • Experience coordinating events, programs, administrative operations, or student engagement activities.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace, including Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets, and presentation software.
  • Ability to read, write and follow written and oral instructions in English.
  • Must be able to provide proof of work authorization

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics and provide on-site support for the Anteater Involvement Fair, including communications with student organizations, campus partners, vendors, and event participants.
  • Assist with planning and executing student programs, events, and staff training by coordinating schedules, reservations, materials, supplies, and promotional communications.
  • Administer the Registered Campus Organization (RCO) registration process by tracking submissions, maintaining records, communicating with student organizations, and ensuring required documentation is complete.
  • Provide administrative support through drafting communications, maintaining spreadsheets and digital records, supporting outreach efforts, and assisting with departmental projects.
