About The Position

This is a temporary employment recruitment reporting to the UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES) Department. The role provides administrative and program coordination support for the NCC and Neuromuscular Medicine Fellowship Programs. The coordinator will maintain fellowship schedules, trainee files, program records, evaluations, recruitment materials, and accreditation documentation. They will also coordinate meetings, interviews, educational activities, onboarding, and program events, while tracking accreditation deadlines, required submissions, and compliance documentation. Communication with fellows and faculty is key to ensuring smooth program operations.

Requirements

  • Previous administrative or program coordination experience, preferably in an academic, healthcare, or professional setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating events, and maintaining records.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; working knowledge of PowerPoint and creating reports.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including composing correspondence and communicating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Accurate data entry and filing skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.
  • Must be able to provide proof of work authorization

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting academic, medical, fellowship, residency, or accreditation programs.
  • Experience with recruitment, onboarding, travel arrangements, or event coordination.
  • Experience maintaining confidential files and program documentation.
  • Familiarity with Macintosh OS and multi-line phone systems.
