The Program Coordinator provides comprehensive academic and administrative support for graduate education programs within Biomedical Graduate Education (BGE) at Georgetown University Medical Center. This position supports the MS in Integrative Medicine and Health Sciences, MS in Systems Medicine, and the PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular & Cellular Biology, ensuring effective coordination of academic operations, student services, and program activities. Working closely with program leadership and BGE administrative units, the Program Coordinator plays a central role in managing the graduate student lifecycle—from recruitment and admissions through graduation and alumni engagement. The role supports approximately 60+ master’s and doctoral students and contributes to the efficient administration, academic coordination, and continuous improvement of these interdisciplinary biomedical graduate programs. The Program Coordinator assists with recruitment and admissions processes, monitors student academic progress and compliance with program requirements, coordinates merit-based funding and student records, supports faculty and program leadership in curricular and programmatic initiatives, and organizes academic and professional development events that enhance the graduate student experience.
