About The Position

The Fresh Produce Program (FPP) is a Duke staff- and student-run organization whose mission is to strengthen food security and address nutrition-related health disparities in Durham through produce prescription and food access programs. Our direct-to-door delivery model provides over 600 households experiencing food security with biweekly deliveries of free, fresh, and locally-sourced produce and eggs on Saturday “Distribution Days,” which are complemented by a weekly first-come, first-serve walk-up table for members of the community. Our goal is to help facilitate partnerships between healthcare systems, community organizations, and local food producers and retailers to improve health through nutrition. FPP seeks a reliable, organized, and community-minded Distribution Day Manager to support our weekly operations of the Fresh Produce Program.
