About The Position

Child Development Associates, Inc. (CDA) is a community based, multiservice non-profit agency with over 300 employees dedicated to creating positive change in our local community. Under general supervision, the Program Coordinator coordinates program integrity research, payment adjustments, notices, and assigned special provider cases while conducting quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with California Department of Social Services (CDSS) regulations and CDA policies and procedures.

Requirements

Demonstrates experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Exhibits proficiency in planning and prioritizing workload to ensure deadlines are met, problem-solve, and initiate prompt and professional responses to others with minimum supervision.
Must be able to adapt to new situations and changes in policies or procedures; demonstrate flexibility in the workplace and promote a positive atmosphere.
Is capable of treating all individuals with dignity and respect and respond in a cooperative and manner.
Understand and respect diversity in the workplace and show consideration by communicating tactfully and sensitively at all times.
Must have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to prioritize workload and work under strict deadlines.
Must possess excellent customer service skills and experience meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and comfortable working on repetitive assignments.
Associate’s Degree on Business Administration, or related field preferred.
1 to 2 years of progressively responsible experience in program coordination, quality assurance, payment processing, administrative support, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Certification of good DMV record. Valid auto registration and insurance. Position may require occasional driving to and from locations for the purpose of training.

Previous experience with CDA programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the Quality Assurance (QA) review process by selecting provider payment claims for review based on established guidelines, risk factors, and audit requirements.
Assign QA reviews, adjustment requests, and other designated work to appropriate team members.
Monitor and track QA reviews and reimbursement-related activities to ensure assignments are completed accurately and within established timelines.
Review adjustment requests to determine validity and compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
Assign approved system-generated adjustments to appropriate team members and monitor completion to ensure timely processing.
Lead assigned special projects by coordinating project activities, identifying resources, establishing timelines, monitoring progress, and communicating project expectations to team members.
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects by responding to questions, providing guidance, resolving issues, and communicating project status to leadership.
Conduct research and compile data for internal reviews, external audits, compliance initiatives, and special projects.
Prepare and provide project results and findings upon completion of audits, reviews, and special projects.
Maintain accurate documentation, tracking logs, and project records in accordance with departmental procedures and record retention requirements.
