About The Position

The Program Coordinator for LL.M. Adjunct Services, in the Office of Academic Affairs, Law Center - Georgetown University plays an important role in providing consistent, professional front-line customer service to a large, prominent, professional group of adjunct faculty who have unique needs for support as they are not on campus frequently. The Program Coordinator will focus on providing support to over 600 adjunct faculty teaching experiential and non-experiential courses.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree, B.A., or equivalent required.
  • At least two years professional experience is required.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Discretion with sensitive financial and personal information is required.
  • Prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to requests for assistance from our adjunct faculty are critical components of the job.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and solve problems in a courteous and professional manner are necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collegially and independently with various departments within Georgetown Law.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to do all tasks necessary to support the administration of the J.D. and LL.M. Academic Programs are essential qualifications.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google products (“G”) Suite (Gmail, Google Sheets, etc.), and Adobe Acrobat is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years office administration/customer service experience
  • Experience with web editing tools and Banner is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Facilitating the rehiring and onboarding process for over 300 LL.M. adjuncts, including preparing, keying in, and issuing over 300 appointment letters
  • Providing in-person support to adjunct faculty as they prepare to teach and carry out teaching and grading responsibilities
  • Serving as the first point of contact for adjunct faculty inquiries related to administrative issues
  • Provide adjunct faculty data to internal and external constituents, as appropriate
  • Manage communications to adjunct faculty
  • Manage adjunct office reservations
  • Assist with implementing and standardizing office procedures related to adjunct services
  • Update the adjunct virtual office page
  • Provide course scheduling assistance and front desk support
  • Perform other duties as required to support the mission of the Academic Affairs office
