About The Position

Under general supervision, identifies, develops and evaluates programs that target substance use disorders (SUD), rehabilitative treatment navigation and re-entry services for incarcerated persons at the City of North Las Vegas Community Correctional Center. Coordinates evidence-based programming, case management, and discharge planning; collaborates with courts, community treatment providers, and justice partners to reduce recidivism and support continuity of care. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organization skills, experience with grant management, and the ability to stand up new programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in social work, counseling, psychology, criminology, public health, or a closely related field.
  • Two years of progressively responsible case management or treatment navigation experience in SUD, behavioral health, reentry, or related human service.
  • US Citizenship
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license and maintain satisfactory motor vehicle record and ability to obtain appropriate Nevada state driver’s license within required time frame.
  • Any equivalent combination of education, work experience, and/or training in social work, counseling, criminology or related human services related to serving at-risk populations may be considered a substitute for the education required.

Benefits

  • Salary range: $65,202.10 - $103,873.32
  • Starting salary is dependent on education, qualifications, and experience.
  • Existing employees will receive increases as outlined by their bargaining agreement.
