About The Position

This is a temporary position with the Office of State Human Resources (OSHR) Temporary Solutions division, classified as Program Coordinator IV. The agency's mission is to provide a solid Human Resource management foundation, responsible oversight, and creative solutions through a collaborative approach with all stakeholders to maximize the potential of its employees. This role is located at 1915 Health Services Way Raleigh, NC 27607 in Wake County, with the Department of Health and Human Services - Public Health.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and three (3) years of experience in the program related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be fully qualified for the job.
  • Temporary employees are limited to one NC State Government temporary assignment at a time.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing the Council’s foundational governance by developing bylaws, operating procedures, membership guidelines, workflow processes, and policies supporting transparency, accessibility, public engagement, and statutory compliance.
  • Coordinating member appointments and onboarding, including orientation, ethics requirements, and records management.
  • Developing the administrative systems needed for scheduling, document management, communications, public-meeting compliance, reimbursements, and meeting logistics.
