The Centre for International Experience (CIE), within the Division of Student Life and the Office of Vice President International, provides students with opportunities to expand their learning into the global arena, enabling them to expand their world and gain a global advantage. CIE works with students, academic units, and local and global communities to create sustainable and diverse learning abroad experiences that incorporate study, research, and professional opportunities. They partner with faculties and services to enable students new to Canada to maximize their time at U of T to meet their goals and aspirations upon graduation. Finally, CIE works to build global learning opportunities on campus, including curricular, co-curricular, and experiential components. The Program Coordinator, International Student Development Programs will be part of the International Student Experience (ISE) Team, contributing to the development and delivery of programs and resources that advance the international student experience. Reporting to the Associate Director, International Student Experience & Global Fluency, and under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, Inclusion and Diversity, & Team Lead, ISE, the Program Coordinator will work across all ISE program portfolios, leveraging strengths in international student development and collaborative programming coordination. This role involves leading the development and delivery of programs, resources, and initiatives throughout the international student experience timeline, including transition in, the journey years, and transition out. The incumbent will collaborate with Student Life units to integrate and deliver ISE programs, partnering with and supporting existing platforms for international student support within college and faculty programs. The Program Coordinator will create, highlight, and promote specific resources for international students within existing programs, consider and position particular needs, and foster a holistic and accessible approach to the international student experience across the University of Toronto. The Program Coordinator will work closely with the Resource and Information Team to deliver and promote ISE events, programs, and educational workshops. Responsibilities include ensuring website, social media, and digital communication channels are up-to-date, and reviewing the impact and relevance of ISE programs through team evaluations and assessments. The Program Coordinator will collaborate with the ISE team to design and implement an evaluation framework for its programs and initiatives. Under the direction of the Associate Director and Team Lead, ISE, the incumbent will work closely with Student Life portfolios, tri-campus International Centres, student organizations, clubs, and groups to implement and promote access to programming, services, educational, and outreach initiatives related to the international student experience. Through these partnerships, the incumbent will facilitate and promote access to and awareness of international student experience programs, services, resources, and initiatives across the University of Toronto, while considering and positioning particular needs.
