SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position provides direct supervision and program oversight of Homeless Prevention programs located in Pottawattamie, Audubon, Cass, Harrison, Mills, Montgomery, Fremont, and Page counties in Iowa, as well as Sarpy and Douglas Counties in Nebraska. These programs provide Homeless Prevention services to those at imminent risk of homelessness. Services include temporary financial assistance and support services to help individuals obtain and maintain permanent housing. In addition to oversight of program staff and operations, this position will also oversee and be responsible for Holiday Assistance programs in Pottawattamie, Douglas, and Sarpy counties. Supervisory responsibilities and major agency wide support functions begin at this level. Decision making, problem solving, and ongoing task prioritization are critical. Training in supervision and management is required.
