About The Position

NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to join their Trauma Program at NYP/Weill Cornell. This role is part of a 3-year grant-funded initiative to establish an Evidence-Based Falls Prevention Program aimed at reducing falls among older adults. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for patient enrollment, teaching virtual falls prevention classes, documenting patient encounters, and submitting data to a federal database. This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours per week, with flexible weekday hours. The position requires on-site presence, and employees must live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of equivalent work experience
  • Excellent writing and communication skills – possess verbal and written skills to convey mission and purpose to internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to work with diverse community groups

Nice To Haves

  • Interest and/or experience working with older adults
  • Spanish bilingual strongly preferred
  • Technologically proficient
