About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting with the coordination and management of NCMEC’s consultant engagement network, ensuring that consultants are effectively engaged and utilized in projects and initiatives. This task involves coordination and support of onboarding activities for new consultants, invoice management, data analytics, pre- and post-travel support, and facilitation of consultant projects. In addition, the position will provide support in locating clinicians and services organizations that are skilled in successful survivor advocacy and mental health intervention efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, criminal justice, or psychology commensurate five-year professional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of relevant experience serving crime victim populations with a high level of sensitivity to their cultural and emotional needs (i.e. Rape Crisis Center, first responder call centers).
  • Prior administrative support experience.
  • Experience with technology and database software programs.
  • Experience with program metrics, data collection and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collect program metric data and develop materials for internal and external audiences.
  • Must possess an understanding of mental health and trauma informed best practices.
  • Ability to work with difficult or disturbing case situations and knowledge and effective utilization of self-care strategies.
  • Ability to work with individuals in crisis and handle and maintain the integrity and confidentiality of highly sensitive material and information.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, telephone, and written communications skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, multi-task, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in the use of MS Office Suite or an equivalent office suite product including expertise in database and spreadsheet, applications.
  • Adaptability, flexibility and ability to work as part of a team or in an individual capacity.
  • Ability to effectively present or conduct tours on NCMEC and FAD services to internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Provide, arrange, coordinate, and oversee logistical support for consultant-led projects, including virtual and in-person activities.
  • Support consultant growth through development, review, and editing of presentations, newsletters, materials, and additional communication avenues as needed.
  • Ensure accurate records of consultant onboarding and maintain consistent documentation of the consultant projects and progress for tracking deliverables, activities, and timelines.
  • Maintain ongoing consultant communication and relationship management.
  • Utilize organizational project management software to execute onboarding processes (pre-briefings and meetings), standardize operating procedures and guidelines for consultant program and communication tools to deliver a streamlined approach for consultant management.
  • Lead and/or assist with consultant activities and processes from project inception to project completion to include securing travel accommodations when necessary.
  • Document case and consultant activity in relevant database or software in compliance with established procedures.
  • Support invoicing and contract needs for consultant led projects.
  • Support Salesforce improvements.
  • Locate, evaluate, and liaise with mental health providers and organizations for increased NCMEC collaboration.
  • Availability during non-normal business hours to accommodate consultants and/or case needs.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with all lived experience and professional consultants connected to NCMEC.
  • Perform special projects and duties as assigned by the leadership team and other team members to support the Division’s initiatives.
  • Promote and exhibit loyalty to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the cause of protecting children worldwide.
